Event Format

Schedule & venue

Duration: 24-hour hackathon format

Schedule:

  • 6:00 PM: Check-in and Opening Ceremony
  • 7:00 PM: Hacking begins
  • 7:00 PM (Next Day): Project submissions close
  • 7:30 PM: Judging and presentations
  • 9:00 PM: Awards ceremony

Participation

Participation rules

  • All participants must be present for the duration of the event
  • Teams can consist of 1-4 members
  • All code must be written during the 24-hour period
  • Open source libraries and frameworks are allowed
  • Projects must be submitted by the deadline
  • Final presentations are mandatory for judging

Participants under 18

Anyone under 18 must have a signed waiver on file and a parent or legal guardian on site for the entire event. Minors receive a yellow wristband at check-in.

Expected behavior

  • Be respectful and inclusive
  • Exercise consideration and respect in your speech and actions
  • Attempt collaboration before conflict

Unacceptable behavior: Harassment, discriminatory language, inappropriate content, or any behavior that makes others feel unwelcome will result in immediate disqualification.
